even a simple charge can take several months to see to the end. i personally had to make over 7 court appearances before my case was finally settled. this was over a check. what happens is your lawyer meets and tries to work out something with the DA. the other details no one can say for sure because a case can go so many ways especially with the uncertainty of how weed they will say you had.
