How does a superhero punish a defiant sidekick?

Don't let them come along on a few missions, make them clean the hideout and do their super sweat soaked laundry, take away their utility belt, make them work the crime scanner while they go fight crime, change the password/locks to the hideout, and if it comes down to it fire them.
