Can one be prosecuted for unknowingly consuming illegal substance?

Say that a person claimed that the drug they were selling to you was a plant that mades you experience a psychedelic high, but was not illegal. Later, you find out that the plant was cannabis and you test positive for consumption of marijuana. Would you be in trouble?
