Dog seized up while Grooming?

Maybe the dog ate something toxic? I've heard that dogs get uncontrollable tremors if they get poisoned. Another possibility is White Shaker Dog Syndrome. I know the name sounds silly, but it's a disorder that affects small white dogs. Tell the owner to take the dog to the vet, it could be something dangerous.
