What should I do about my crazy neighbor?

I have this neighbor and he is absolutely 110% batshit crazy. He lives on a small piece of property in the middle of a neighborhood right smack dab in the middle of a town full of people but has (and I am not shitting you) 15 no trespassing signs in his yard. A few weeks ago my friends and I were out in the street throwing football when the ball landed in his yard, to avoid an altercation we fished it out with a stick..... He still called the cops!!! So this lead up to today's events, we were out throwing football in our driveway this time to avoid the ball going in his yard. He IMMEDIATELY came outside and sat on this bench right by the road which just so happens to be close enough to us that we can hear him if he talks at a pretty reasonable volume (lets say 25 feet) and whips out his phone and his conversation went like this. "Hey how are you doing, so those cameras on my property are ready to go right? cause if this ball lands in my yard I want these people prosecuted and thrown in jail". This pissed me off so I went inside and grabbed my phone and came outside, I didnt have anyone on the line but I wanted to prove that anyone can be a complete asshole and I said "Hey man whats up, oh really thats cool, well do we got those cameras on my property ready to go? I have this crazy *** neighbor and if he steps foot on my property I want him prosecuted and thrown in jail" I came back inside and told my roommate that I just did it and that the cops would be knocking at our door in like 10 minutes......... 15 minutes later knock knock guess who? the cops? YOU BET! almost right on time too, why does this crazy **** think he can call our tax dollars in uniform every time his panties get in a bunch? Why can't he move to the top of a mountain or like outer space and never bother anyone again? Does he live to piss off college kids? What can I do about this? I really want this stupid crazy asshole off my block at the very best but at the very least I want him to realize what a cock he is.
