I am testifying in court against my father who assaulted me, what will the defense ask?

I am 26 and my father assaulted me in front of my two year old. What are some questions the defense might ask me? The prosecuting attorney said they can only talk about that day but will they ask me things about my character and try to disprove my credibility? Things like have you ever lied and/or lied to your parents? I think everyone has told a lie in their life.... I am just trying to think of worst case scenarios.... I know their attorney will get as ugly as he's allowed to be.
