How old are you? This all sounds very junior high school, and while that may be expected of the students, you should be more mature. If your students liked you, they wouldn't do this stuff. You have not presented yourself as a professional who wants to help the students reach their goals. It's too bad you're getting cut because of budget shortages, although there's no reason that I know of that that can't be explained to students. It's going on everywhere. But you're an example of why experience counts. You've overreacted to your students, and not handled this very well. Why should anything an adolescent does, says or thinks infuriate you? Grow up!
